About Us

Founded 52 years ago, the UBC Supply Chain & Operations Association (SCOA) remains the only official undergraduate club for supply chain and operations students at the UBC Sauder School of Business. Ever since its establishment, SCOA has offered exclusive networking opportunities, factory tours, industry workshops, and other events that provide supply chain and operations students with a pathway to success. SCOA actively supports inclusion and social responsibility, and this year we seek to teach students how EDI and sustainability efforts overlap in the industry.

SCOA strives to guide and help students understand the importance of operations, transportation, logistics, and supply-chain management in the current industry. It is our mission to connect students to industry professionals and companies through the inclusive events we host, and give them a better idea of what opportunities the future holds for them.

Our Impact

Through our events and workshops, SCOA brings in UBC students from various backgrounds who are passionate about learning about supply chain and operations fields. The success of SCOA has been always linked to its diverse and welcoming environment. Over the years, our member base has continually grown to reach a wide range of students from different parts of the world with diverse educational backgrounds such as finance, economics, engineering, environmental studies, and many more.
